Legacy Barricades’ inception in 2018 was sparked by the mission to develop products and services to help keep our kids safe in schools from violent attacks. Now Legacy Barricades has developed the first ever fully code compliant door barricade device that brings hard security into our schools and classrooms that are targeted by active threats giving teachers, staff, and students the highest level of safety behind every door.
Most barricade door devices are not code compliant.

- In accordance with Michigan House Bill No. 4689
- Passed state inspections in public schools under the regulation of House Bill No. 4689
- Approved by the Michigan Bureau of Construction Codes
